In December 2012, the International Symposium on Snow Tyre Manufacturing and Testing Technology was held in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province. Nearly 50 experts from Japan's Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., Bridgestone China Ltd., South Korea's Hantai Tire Co., Ltd. and China Automotive Tire R&D production and testing department attended the seminar. The seminar will promote the development of tire testing technology in the cold regions of Heihe City to a new level for international development. As snow tires have emerged as a new high-end refinement product in China in recent years, there are many technical issues that need to be explored together. In particular, snow tire testing technology is currently still blank for China and has just begun. Therefore, as the theme of the conference, “Improve snow tire manufacturing technology and build snow tire standard test platform†will promote the development, production and use of snow tires and improve the driving safety of vehicles on ice and snow.
