Golf Buggy Series

A golf cart battery is a type of accumulator whose function is to store limited electrical energy for use in appropriate places. Mainly used in golf cart, electric sightseeing car, electric viewing RV, electric sweeper and other products.

Golf cart batteries belong to lead storage batteries. It uses a lead plate filled with spongy shape lead as a negative electrode, a lead plate filled with lead dioxide as a positive electrode, and 1.28% dilute sulfuric acid as an electrolyte. When it is charged, electrical energy is converted to chemical energy, and when it is discharged, chemical energy is converted to electrical energy.

When the battery is discharging, the metal lead is the negative electrode, and oxidizes to lead sulfate. Lead dioxide is the positive electrode, which undergoes a reduction reaction and is reduced to lead sulfate. When a battery is charged with direct current, lead and lead dioxide are formed at the poles. After the power is removed, it returns to its pre-discharge state and forms a chemical battery. Lead batteries are batteries that can be recharged and discharged repeatedly, which are called secondary batteries.

Its voltage is 2V, 4V, 6V, 8V, 12V and so on. After a period of use, the battery should be supplemented with distilled water to keep the electrolyte containing 22~28% dilute sulfuric acid.
