The domestic product with a melting point of 160-180°C, a glass transition temperature of 58-60°C, a tensile strength of more than 65 MPa, and a modulus of more than 3 GPa was obtained, and the product performance reached the advanced foreign standard for polylactic acid.
In the second half of 2000, they shifted the focus of their work to the research and development of polylactic acid industrialization. After nearly 7 years of research, it broke through the industrialization of key technologies such as lactic acid dehydration time, polylactic acid molecular weight distribution, cracking catalyst reaction conditions, monomer high temperature racemization, distillation and polymerization processes. At the end of 2007, they built the first core technology in China with independent intellectual property rights, core technology such as L-lactide cracking, L-lactide purification, green solvent-free bulk polymerization, and the second in the world with an annual output of 5,000 tons of green biodegradable and environmentally friendly Polylactic acid resin industrial demonstration line and achieve mass production.
