Japan developed a cutting wireless charging diaphragm
Researchers at the University of Tokyo in Japan have developed a tailor-made wireless charging film that can be cut into various sizes and "sticked" to the surface of objects such as clothes pockets, bags, tables, etc. to charge electronic devices such as mobile phones.
The University of Tokyo research team recently introduced on the school's official website that existing wireless charging products usually design and install charging coil arrays according to the shape of specific products, but once they are partially cut off, they may lose their charging capacity, and the wireless charging diaphragm they developed is tailored. It can also be charged later.
The wireless charging diaphragm uses a special H-type internal coil array, and a power supply is arranged in the diaphragm. The peripheral edge of the diaphragm can be cut, and the remaining coils maintain charging capability.
In the experiment, the researchers made a wireless charging diaphragm weighing about 82 grams on a flexible substrate of about 40 cm in length and width, with a maximum charging power of about 5 watts. The research team expects this technology to be applied to the pocket of the garment, the inside of the bag, the table or the box, giving some everyday items a wireless charging function.
